Becker, a leading expert in international trade and banking, has spent the majority of his career working in the international departments of several major American banks. He also serves as adjunct faculty in the International MBA programs at the University of Denver and the University of Colorado Denver. Roy Becker receives Educator of the Year Award

January 23, 2009: Roy Becker was presented the “Educator of the Year” award at “Operation Stimulus,” Colorado’s 28^th annual transportation forum held at the Renaissance Denver Hotel.

Doug Draper, Chairman, presented the award by saying, “Roy has been a long standing advocate for the education and growth of transportation logistics in Colorado. His tenure in the banking industry equipped him to teach the financial aspects of international business at the University of Denver, the University of Colorado Denver, and the Denver World Trade Center.”

In addition to his support in the academic community, Becker teaches logistics professionals the importance of international compliance through his training seminars.

Draper said that the committee was proud to present the award to Becker because of his years of dedication to their craft.
