MANAGING INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS JUST GOT EASIER!
Roy Becker Publishes Four New e-Books
August 3, 2009, Denver, CO. – Roy Becker Seminars announced today the release of four e-books on international trade. Building on the success of his first book, “A Banker’s Insights on International Trade: Tips, Techniques and Tales from Practical Experience,” author, Roy Becker has expanded his story repertoire and compiled his new book, “More Banker’s Insights on International Trade: 101 Lessons Based on Practical Experience.” From this master edition, three spinoff books were created to address the unique interests of specific readers: importers, exporters, and students.
“I wanted to provide separate editions which were relevant to the needs of a specific reader,” explained Becker. “The interests of an importer are quite different from those of an exporter. However, the master edition is available for a comprehensive study of international trade, if needed.”
Janet Randall of J Randall Ventures, the books’ editor, was amazed by the efficacy of learning with the story-telling technique. “I am surprised at how much information I have retained from editing Roy’s book. The stories are so compelling you learn without even trying,” Randall said.
Becker’s relaxed style and story-telling approach contribute to the effectiveness of learning how to avoid trouble and experience success in international trade. His first-hand knowledge comes from 30 years of personal banking experience with importers and exporters.
Becker, a leading expert in international trade and banking, has spent the majority of his career working in the international departments of several major American banks. Now he consults with companies to help them reduce risk and improve cash flow for their international transactions. He also serves as adjunct faculty in the International MBA programs at the University of Denver and the University of Colorado Denver. He is a frequent speaker and facilitator at workshops and seminars at the World Trade Center Denver. He has earned the Advanced Toastmaster Gold Award.
